THE RESOURCE LIBRARY, accessible from the drop-down menu above, offers resource links and downloads, as well as group discussions and forums, full of information to which you can contribute.

• Download .PDFs of custom decal replacements, collection checklists, grading guidelines, and resource guides…

• Read the latest Star Wars News, on a variety of topics, updated daily, aggregated from the most respected news sources…

• Read through the discussion groups and forums about additional tips for collecting and refurbishing…

THE SOCIAL NETWOR

 

KING FEATURES are much like that of Facebook. After you register your FREE account, you can customize your profile, make friend connections, add pictures to your albums, join groups, send private messages, post activity updates and comment on the posts of others.

• Create Your Account. You can register for your free account by creating a password and providing a valid email address*, or you can use Facebook (as easy as a single click) to register your account.  If you register using Facebook you can synchronize your MYSTARWARSCOLLECTION account to post your activity automatically on Facebook if you like (you can disable this feature as well**).

• Customize Your Profile. Just like Facebook, you can change your network notification options to skip or receive emails when certain events occur, such as other members commenting on your posts or photos, or in group forums to which you have subscribed. You can also customize your avatar, list your Star Wars Collection interests, and other details about yourself.

• Make Friend Connections. Make connections with friends to track each other’s activity and send each other private messages. Private messaging allows you to talk to other members directly, and you can send messages to multiple recipients at a time.

• Add Pictures. Add pictures to the albums on your profile page. Uploads to your personal albums are limited to a total of 40 Mb for free accounts.

• Join Groups. Investigate and join groups, freely subscribe  (i.e., receive an email whenever new content is posted within that group or topic), and post comments within topics. There are a number of group forums, such as “Personal Collections of Star Wars Figures”, “Personal Collections of Star Wars Comic Books”, “Personal Collections of Star Wars Trading Cards, etc.

• Experiment with Blogging. Create your own Star Wars blog and post about whatever you think might interest others. There are limitations on what you can do with your FREE blog, including how much storage space you have, but the FREE option is a great way to learn about blogging, and you can easily upgrade to access more advanced features (a BASIC upgrade is offered for as low as $5/month).

You don’t need to register to have access to the resource libraries, but registration does allow you to more actively participate in the social networking features of the MYSTARWARSCOLLECTION Network. All of this is available free of charge.  The only rule is that this service is for fans and collectors of Star Wars toys and memorabilia — no splog, spam, hate content, or material that a reasonable person would deem inappropriate for younger fans. MY STAR WARS COLLECTION NETWORK reserves the right to delete any account deemed to be in violation of this policy (the longer version of which can be found in our Terms of Service document). NOTES: *While you do have to register to participate in the social networking features, you can still do it anonymously. Click here for information on creating anonymous accounts.  **Even if you use our Facebook option to create your new account, the default setting of your new account will NOT share your activity here with your Facebook account UNLESS you specifically change your account settings to do so — by default your activity is NOT shared with Facebook.
